UPEACE-HRC provides impartial and independent legal consultation to Inter-Governmental Organizations, Non-Governmental Organizations, Non-Profit Organizations and individual querists on issues concerning international law and human rights. Our purpose is to cater to a broad range of organizations and people who cannot afford the services of expensive law firms for legal opinions or who simply seek second opinions on matters concerning international law and human rights. The UPEACE-HRC provides this category of querists with alternative, efficient and affordable legal consultation.
We provide legal opinions through our in-house expertise within UPEACE as well as through our wide network of international lawyers, practitioners, scholars and academicians from around the world who believe in the mission and work of UPEACE-HRC and, as such, have agreed to provide legal opinions on our behalf at heavily subsidized fees. Depending on the area of international law on which opinion is sought, we provide querists with a list of experts to choose from. Once the same is done, we coordinate on behalf of the querists with the experts and provide administrative support to them.
Please submit your query including name, organization (if applicable), contact information (email, phone), country as well as a detailed description of your legal problem or court proceeding and which type of assistance you require. If more than one person is involved please differentiate clearly between them. Please send all queries directly to the Human Rights Centre using the contact information below. We will respond to you as soon as possible.
